ENTRY-LEVEL CAFÉ ATTENDANT

ZUMBAR Coffee & Tea is a fast-paced, quality focused café, run by passionate and knowledgeable staff. We are seeking candidates for our Introductory Café Role. This role is a stepping stone to Production and/or Barista roles within the company. We are looking for responsible individuals who enjoy coffee and who want to learn and grow with a successful small business.  

Our entry level café staff provide a fundamental role in the service of each guest. You will be asked to perform the following tasks to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and brew french press coffee and tea in a timely manner

• Ensure all areas of the café are clean, maintained, well-organized, and stocked

• Wash, dry, and stock dishes

• Greet and be attentive to guests

• Describe coffees and answer menu-related questions

• Properly and accurately use point of sale system

• Follow health and safety guidelines

• Ensure smooth café operations by quickly learning and following front line protocols while communicating clearly with other team members

• Be aware of other staff responsibilities

• Prioritize tasks in order to contribute to smooth operations

Qualifications:

• Retail experience preferred
